Heavy Metal Heather

I have painted since I was 15, A LOT of years ago. So it comes in handy when I'm trying to pull a design together. I started making metal art in 2016. I instantly fell head over heels in LOVE! I spent every moment that I was not at my REAL job , in my work shop. It was difficult to balance with family time and ART time. In 2023 we retired and now this fills my time, when i'm not in my garden or doing yard work. I like to try to re use and recycle as many materials as I can.  I use mostly recycled materials in my art,  Old oil barrels, propane tanks, fire extinguishers, harrow discs, routers, and lots of metal scrap. This is definitely a labor of love as it is extremely hard on you body. in the past year i have been struggling with some health issues and trying to continue to do this line of art.  It is so worth it when you see what you have created when you are done. I love creating my own art as opposed to taking orders. It is a hobby and it's supposed to be fun. I never want it to become a JOB. I hope you enjoy my work !
